With the demolition of the Polaris Building moving forward, a temporary traffic plan will be implemented Monday, June 24. Find the plan in the document attached!
Below is a summary of the plan:
1st Ave will be closed from Lacey St. to Noble St. to vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists.
Lacey St. will be closed from 1st Ave to 2nd Ave to vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists.
1st Ave and Lacey St. intersection will be closed along with the south and east crosswalks to vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists.
1st Ave from Cushman St. to Lacey St. is open to traffic and dead ends at Lacey St. A turn around will be in place just before the Lacey St. intersection.
Wendell Ave. north of the courthouse, between Lacey St. and Noble St. will be a 2-way street for ADA and employee only access to the courthouse parking lot.
Appropriate signage and barricades will be placed at these areas.
This will be in place for the duration of the project, with an expected completion date of October 31, 2024.
