Please help us - Clear items from the Right of Way ASAP.
Snow season is right around the corner, and that means our crews will soon be out clearing roads to keep Fairbanks safe and moving.
We’re asking residents to please remove basketball hoops, garbage cans, and any other items from the right-of-way before snow removal begins. These items can pose safety hazards and cause costly damage to both equipment and property.
To help ensure safe and efficient operations, Public Works will be leaving notices for residents where items are found that may impede snow removal.
Items must be removed within 5 days of the notice, or they will be removed by Public Works.
Any items removed will be held at the Public Works facility for 30 days before being officially forfeited.
Your cooperation helps protect our operators, equipment, and community. Let’s work together to make this winter’s snow removal season safe and successful for everyone!
