Each year the City of Fairbanks solicits proposals from any organization, public or private, or any individual seeking funding by the Discretionary Fund Grant. Revenues are distributed for the primary purpose of funding services for the promotion of the tourist industry and other economic development in the City of Fairbanks. The application period is the month of October each year.
