All dispatchers with FECC are cross trained for police, fire and medical dispatching.  Our training consists of a dispatch academy that is two months long and numerous classes with the International Academy of Emergency Dispatchers. IAED is an ongoing training program that requires testing of the dispatchers every two years.  This insures that dispatchers are up to date on the latest information and life saving techniques available.
